Uncertain, circa 4th-6th centuries. Weight of 1 Nomisma (Bronze, 19 mm, 4.19 g, 12 h), a serrated coin weight for a solidus made from an assarion of Commodus from Seleucia ad Calycadnum. [ΑYΤ ΚΑΙ ΑYΡΗ ΚΟΜΟΔΟϹ] Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Commodus to right, seen from behind. Rev. [ϹЄΛЄΥΚЄⲰΝ ΤⲰΝ ΠΡΟϹ ΤⲰ ΚΑΛYΚ]ΑΔΝⲰ Europa riding bull to left, holding billowing veil above with both hands. For coin type, cf. RPC IV.3 online 10278. Drill holes, otherwise, very fine.
